- Camera Access: Used solely for OCR text recognition. Images are processed locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
- Photo Library Access (Optional): Only when you choose to import screenshots or save session photos. We never scan your photo library automatically.
- Crash Reports: Anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs and improve app stability.
- Purchase Information: If you buy premium features, Apple handles the transaction. We only receive a receipt to unlock features.
Information We DON'T Collect
- Your saved Bible verses or study notes
- Your folder organization or personal annotations
- Photos you capture or import
- Your location or contacts
- Any personally identifiable information
Data Storage
All your Bible verses, folders, notes, and session content are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not have servers that store your personal Bible study data. Your data syncs across your devices using your iCloud account if enabled, but we never have access to this information.
Third-Party Services
SnapVerse uses minimal third-party services:
- Apple StoreKit: For processing premium feature purchases
- iOS Crash Reporting: Anonymous crash reports to improve app stability
Your Rights
- All your data is under your control on your device
- Delete the app to remove all local data immediately
- Disable camera or photo library access at any time in iOS Settings
- Contact us with any privacy concerns via the Support page
Children's Privacy
SnapVerse is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, as we don't collect personal data at all.
