By downloading, installing, or using SnapVerse, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use our app.

2. App Description

SnapVerse is a Bible study tool that uses optical character recognition (OCR) to capture scripture references from printed text. The app allows you to:

• Scan Bible verses using your device camera
• Import screenshots containing scripture references
• Save and organize verses in folders
• Read full Bible chapters offline
• Add personal notes and annotations

3. User Responsibilities

• Respect Copyright: Only scan materials you have the right to use. Respect copyright laws when capturing text from books and publications.
• Personal Use: SnapVerse is designed for personal Bible study. Commercial redistribution of captured content may violate copyright laws.
• Appropriate Content: Use the app for its intended purpose of Bible study and spiritual growth.
• Device Security: You're responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored locally.

4. Premium Features

Some features require a one-time in-app purchase:

• Unlimited folder creation for verse organization
• Session photos with annotations
• Advanced study tools and checklists

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. All sales are final unless required otherwise by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

• App Ownership: SnapVerse and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SnapVerse and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• Bible Text: The Bible text included in the app is from the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of any personal notes, photos, or annotations you create within the app.

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

• OCR Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, OCR technology may occasionally misread text. Always verify important references.
• No Theological Advice: SnapVerse is a tool for Bible study, not a source of theological interpretation or spiritual counseling.
• Offline Functionality: Most features work offline, but initial download and updates require an internet connection.

7. App Updates

We may update the app periodically to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Some updates may be required for continued use of the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using SnapVerse at any time by deleting the app from your device. This will remove all locally stored data.

9. Limitation of Liability

SnapVerse is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or via the App Store.
